I love this building and wanted to create a scene full of action and atmosphere. I love the sense that people are pushing through the rain to get to Liberty and capturing the watery reflections on the street was an important part of this movement. I have used a limited palette but colour is important to me so stuck to bold and confident blocks and strokes alongside the famous black and white facade that dominates. I've used the figures and perspective to draw the eye up to the doors as if you were about to enter the alluring emporium.
